2007 Excellent Brand Rice Evaluation & Excellent Brand Rice Court
The Korea Federation of Housewives’ Clubs will hold the 2007 Excellent Brand Rice Evaluation & Excellent Brand Rice Court under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, at 11 a.m. on April 25 (Wed), 2007. The brand rice evaluation, which is aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Korean rice by improving the quality of rice and raising consumer confidence in Korean rice, has entered its 5th year. The brand rice evaluation will be carried out on 51 brands of rice that have been recommended by cities, provinces, Nonghyups, Grain Association and the RPC Association. Representatives of consumer groups, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the director of the National Agriculture Products Quality Management Service (Chung Seung) and the Korea Food Research Institute (Acting President Dong-su Kim) are all expected to attend the event to wish for the success of the Brand Rice Evaluation in 2007. In addition to that, various promotional activities for consumers will be held.
We would like you to promote, attend and encourage the Brand Rice Evaluation to assess rice from all across the nation and enable these brands to attract the public’s attention.
