The Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations (President Kim Cheon-ju, hereinafter KNCCO) is hosting the International Symposium on Food Safety in February 10 to review the current status and management of food labeling in Korea, U.S., and Japan.

The international symposium on food safety will be held at 2:00pm, February 10, 2009 (Tue) at the International Conference Room on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Foundation (Press Center) under the title ‘Current Status and Management of International Food Labeling’.

The purpose of the international symposium is to find out the current status and management of food labeling in Korea, U.S., and Japan, and to serve as an opportunity to supplement Korea’s food labeling system.
